Mrs. Ruiz, the interview airs tonight, 10/9/08!

Your intervew on Campbell Brown tonight only emphasized how misplaced your support for Palin is. The Vice President is not going to sit down and have a cup of tea with you. She or he needs to have comprehensive knowledge of the global economy, global geo-politics, and the social dynamics of a diverse nation such as the U.S. In the few interviews and debates in which she has participated, Palin has clearly demonstrated that she lacks all of the above.

It was wonderful girl!!!

Portrayed the misguided fascism that will become the norm under the new neo nazi McCain regime!

Keep up the good work!

McCain=Unstable
Palin=Unable

I respect your decision and views about Sarah Palin. But how can you support a woman who forced rape victims to pay for their own forensic examination kits?

Here are my sources, please take a moment to view:

I am embarrased to both call myself a Christian and a Floridian after watching that special on CNN. You women need to stop living in the bubble and start reading the news. McSame and Palin are simply not the right choice. And unfortunately i feel your prayers will fall on deaf ears.

PLEASE, I'm still begging. I'll beg all night, I ain't too proud. Whatever the truth about all issues is, I just know that it can't hurt us.

I just wanted to mention that I believe that the real causes for our current economic problems are explained in the above mentioned films. Think about it... I know you don't want to, but that's just putting it off for your kids and grandkids to worry about. Think about it...

I try to respect other people's rights to their opinion, but it's painful watching this...this woman is in no way qualified to be running for Vice-President. She may be fine as Governor, but that's about it. Her ridiculous attempts to come across as a "regular person" are laughable. Unless she really is as simple-minded as she appears, which would be scary. She might be a nice person you would enjoy talking to or having a drink with, but that's not the point..she is running for a high position and that reason for voting for her just doesn't cut it.
Finally, let me point out the irony of your statement that she is being attacked "viciously" - please!!! This woman has shown her true colors in the last few days and it would be hard to top the viciousness she is displaying at her rallies. She has nothing valuable to say so resorts to nasty insults against Barack Obama. Please wake up people, this is NOT someone who should be given the chance to hold a responsible position.

Cause he's so hot and the real terrorists are so not, you betcha!

I saw the CNN Show and I have questions about Sarah and John. I've noticed that in their rallies it's been getting pretty nasty. As a Christian, you should say "Hey, please come down, we're not about that" and they don't. They love it! To have people screaming hatred is very scary and being a Christian is not about that at all. The bible says they they will know you by the fruit that you bear and not just by the words that you say. It also says that all will know that you are Christs disciple by showing love one to another. It's okay to compete but when you are Christians you have to do it in a like manner.

John didn't say he was a christian until late in the game. That's scary. You should be bold and stand up for what you believe not just use it when you think you won't get beat down about it.

We put Bush in office and he's very arrogant. God hates arrogance! Pride comes before a fall and that's happened to him.

Sarah has not done much to stop the hate talks. That's really sad.

Our churches tell us to vote on the issues but we need to look at the fruit that people bear. If you are a heathen then I don't expect great things from you but if you say you are a Christian, then at some point, you have to live up to that or it's in vain.

I just watched the CNN 360 show in FIJI (I'm a missionary to the children here. My husband and I always vote early by absentee ballot so we are keeping a close tab on political events.) I salute all of you ladies for speaking up for a group of women who do understand WHY Sarah has certain values that govern her decisions. I see from the above comments that you are being targeted by others who just don't get why you get Sarah and resort to labeling you in many unflattering terms. I just want to encourage you to speak up as you exercise your American right to free speech, but continue to be loving and gracious as you do so as would be fitting for daughters of the King of kings.

Anonymous said...

I'm a missionary too, but I don't need fairytales to make me be that way. "Are you hungry little boy? Here, have a cracker, but first take the bible." It is exactly these lines of thinking that explains what is wrong with our country (world for that matter), and Sara Palin is the poster child.

Anonymous said...

I just saw you on Anderson Cooper. I'm in agreement with you- Sarah's great and we are missing a chance for Christian values if McCain-Palin don't get the "White House". Keep praying.

Anonymous said...

However crude, the "no fairtytales missionary" has a point. Unconditional love is the only kind.

Anonymous said...

I can't believe Sarah calls herself a christian!!
Highly recommend for her to read the book Taming the Tongue. Sorry ladies, she is not qualified for VP.
I hope you all really think about this, its our children that are going to suffer, and if Sarah can't keep her own children in order how do you expect her to keep our country in order

Its sad and alarming to see the misguided views of those who call themselves Christians in America.

Tami, The LORD said , "Blessed is the man who walks not in the counsel of the wicked..." Tami Mccain's slogan is "country first" this is not a Christian's slogan this is not a philosophy for you to follow if you are trying to please JESUS.

Your motto Tami should be, "GOD FIRST" no candidate today has views that are 100% in harmony with GOD'S teaching. Mccain follows a policy of a gov't commited to using unlawful force.

The war in Iraq was for oil and unjust, the war in vietnam war for protecting u.s. assets in the region just to name 2. this is where Mcaain comes from. Bombing people who never attacked the U.S. under the guise of fighting communism (vietnam) and he is called a hero? a hero for dropping bombs that could have killed children and villagers?. sitting in a plane so high up you don't see the devastation you are causing.

Tami, JESUS said, "..for all who draw the sword will die by the sword." matt 26:52 and if you don't die by by an earthly sword you will die by the sword of JESUS'S mouth, which is the WORD OF GOD.

Tami you must re-examine your faith and see if what you stand for is is in harmony with the teaching of JESUS. HE is the PRINCE OF PEACE and by following those who do not seek the will of GOD you will be walking in the counsel of the wicked thus missing the mark.

Our founding fathers did ask the Deity for guidance. That's exactly how George Washington put it, Deity. Let's be academically correct here in saying that we were not intended to be a Christian nation. Thomas Jefferson had serious issues with Christianity, calling it the "most perverted system" to befall mankind. Thomas Paine said that Christianity was a "parody of the worship of the sun." George Washington made it clear that religion should not play a role in our electing of a president or in a federal government at all for that matter. John Adams had serious problems with it too. Most of our founding fathers were of this same fabric simple because they witnessed firsthand the problems religion could bring once people took it too far, we can take their word for it. The truth is that we've become MUCH more religious than we were when America began. We are the most religious westernized, civilized, 1st-world, etcetera country in the world. To find a more religious country you have to look to Theocracies like Iran and Iraq. That makes the problems our founding fathers saw a little more obvious don’t it? Stuff like this is why those horrible liberals act the way they do towards religion, not because they are God hating madmen. I think that God is great but we tend to mess things up. The bible is a completely different topic that requires a lot of research, archaeological evidence, other ancient writings, etcetera to understand the validity of. But how often do we have a seriously intelligent conversation about it that includes those sorts of things. Usually there are just two groups yelling at each other about who is right without (REALLY) saying why or just quoting the bible itself. How is someone suppose to ask an honest question about the validity of the bible if all you can do is use the bible itself or other pragmatic sayings to refute the question, it only makes your argument look weaker. Now just think about how far backwards that is! Backwards from 250+ years ago when our founding fathers started this party! There is proof of certain things and lack thereof of others. Please don’t be one of those two yelling idiotic groups. It only causes regression rather than progress. I don’t mind what anyone believes, but you had better be ready to argue intelligently with me if you want to use religion to set political agendas and public policy. That’s why people jump on Palin’s religion, but again where’s the intelligence? Our leaders come from the public you know, the point being what George Carlin said, “Shit in, shit out”. Read up on your American and religious history ladies. By the way, I don’t want those crazy socialist lefties running the country either. Honestly, I don’t mean to hurt your feelings but just to make my point here are some quotes:

Abraham Lincoln
"The Bible is not my book nor Christianity my profession. I could never give assent to the long, complicated statements of Christian dogma."
- Abraham Lincoln, American president (1809-1865).

Albert Einstein
"I do not believe in a personal God and I have never denied this but have expressed it clearly. If something is in me which can be called religion than it is the unbounded admiration for the structure of the world so far as our science can reveal it."
"I cannot imagine a God who rewards and punishes the objects of his creation, whose purposes are modeled after our own -- a God, in short, who is but a reflection of human frailty. Neither can I believe that the individual survives the death of his body, although feeble souls harbor such thoughts through fear or ridiculous egotism."
"I do not believe in the immortality of the individual, and I consider ethics to be an exclusively human concern with no superhuman authority behind it."
"If people are good only because they fear punishment, and hope for a reward, then we are a sorry lot indeed."
-Albert Einstein, German-born American physicist

Andrew Carnegie
"I don’t believe in God. My god is patriotism. Teach a man to be a good citizen and you have solved the problem of life."
- Andrew Carnegie, Scottish-born American industrialist and philanthropist

Benjamin Franklin
"I have found Christian dogma unintelligible. Early in life, I absenteed myself from Christian assemblies."
"Lighthouses are more helpful then churches."
-Benjamin Franklin, American Founding Father, author, and inventor

"Religion is just mind control."
- George Carlin, comedian

Galileo Galilei
"They know that it is human nature to take up causes whereby a man may oppress his neighbor, no matter how unjustly. ... Hence they have had no trouble in finding men who would preach the damnability and heresy of the new doctrine from the very pulpit."
-Galileo Galilei, Italian astronomer

Helen Keller
"There is so much in the bible against which every insinct of my being rebels, so much so that I regret the necessity which has compelled me to read it through from beginning to end. I do not think that the knowledge I have gained of its history and sources compensates me for the unpleasant details it has forced upon my attention."
-Helen Keller, American lecturer

James Madison, American president and political theorist (1751-1836).

"During almost fifteen centuries has the legal establishment of Christianity been on trial. What has been its fruits? More or less, in all places, pride and indolence in the clergy; ignorance and servility in the laity; in both, Famous Atheist & Quotessuperstition, bigotry, and persecution."
"In no instance have . . . the churches been guardians of the liberties of the people."
"Religious bondage shackles and debilitates the mind and unfits it for every noble enterprise."
"What influence in fact have Christian ecclesiastical establishments had on civil society? In many instances they have been upholding the thrones of political tyranny. In no instance have they been seen as the guardians of the liberties of the people. Rulers who wished to subvert the public liberty have found in the clergy convenient auxiliaries. A just government, instituted to secure and perpetuate liberty, does not need the clergy."
During almost fifteen centuries has the legal establishment of Christianity been on trial. What has been its fruits? More or less, in all places, pride and indolence in the clergy; ignorance and servility in the laity; in both, superstition, bigotry, and persecution."

Dr. James Watson
"I don't think we're here for anything, we're just products of evolution. You can say 'Gee, your life must be pretty bleak if you don't think there's a purpose' but I'm anticipating a good lunch."
-Dr. James Watson, American biologist, (Discoverer of DNA.)

Susan B. Anthony
"I was born a heretic. I always distrust people who know so much about what God wants them to do to their fellows."
- Susan B. Anthony, American suffragist (1820-1906).

Thomas Jefferson (Deist)
"History I believe furnishes no example of a priest-ridden people maintaining a free civil government. This marks the lowest grade of ignorance, of which their political as well as religious leaders will always avail themselves for their own purpose. " – Thomas Jefferson to Baron von Humboldt, 1813

"The Christian god can easily be pictured as virtually the same god as the many ancient gods of past civilizations. The Christian god is a three headed monster; cruel, vengeful and capricious. If one wishes to know more of this raging, three headed beast-like god, one only needs to look at the caliber of people who say they serve him. They are always of two classes: fools and hypocrites."

"Millions of innocent men, women and children, since the introduction of Christianity, have been burnt, tortured, fined and imprisoned; yet we have not advanced one inch towards uniformity." –Thomas Jefferson, Notes on Virginia, 1782.

"And the day will come when the mystical generation of Jesus, by the supreme being as his father in the womb of a virgin will be classed with the fable of the generation of Minerve in the brain of Jupiter. But may we hope that the dawn of reason and freedom of thought in these United States will do away with this artificial scaffolding, and restore to us the primitive and genuine doctrines of this most venerated reformer of human errors." –Thomas Jefferson, Letter to John Adams, April 11, 1823

"Religions are all alike – founded upon fables and mythologies."
"I do not find in orthodox Christianity one redeeming feature."

"Christianity is the most perverted system that ever shone on man."

"It does me no injury for my neighbor to say there are 20 gods, or no God. It neither picks my pocket nor breaks my leg."
- Thomas Jefferson, U.S. President, author, scientist, architect, educator, and diplomat

William Howard Taft
"I do not believe in the divinity of Christ, and there are many other of the postulates of the orthodox creed to which I cannot subscribe."
- William Howard Taft, U.S. President

Thomas Edison
"Religion is all bunk."

"I cannot believe in the immortality of the soul.... No, all this talk of an existence for us, as individuals, beyond the grave is wrong. It is born of our tenacity of life – our desire to go on living … our dread of coming to an end."
- Thomas Edison, American inventor (1847-1931).

GEORGE WASHINGTON:
Government being, among other purposes, instituted to protect the consciences of men from oppression, it certainly is the duty of Rulers, not only to abstain from it themselves, but according to their stations, to prevent it in others.
-- George Washington, letter to the Religious Society called the Quakers, September 28,1789, quoted from Albert J Menendez and Edd Doerr, The Great Quotations on Religious Freedom, also in Gorton Carruth and Eugene Ehrlich, The Harper Book of American Quotations (1988)

Among many other weighty objections to the Measure, it has been suggested, that it has a tendency to introduce religious disputes into the Army, which above all things should be avoided, and in many instances would compel men to a mode of Worship which they do not profess.

-- George Washington, to John Hancock, then president of Congress, expressing opposition to a congressional plan to appoint brigade chaplains in the Continental Army (1777), quoted from a letter to Cliff Walker from Doug Harper (2002)
If they are good workmen, they may be of Asia, Africa, or Europe. They may be Mohometans, Jews or Christians of any Sect, or they may be Atheists.

-- George Washington, letter to Tench Tilghman asking him to secure a carpenter and a bricklayer for his Mount Vernon estate, March 24, 1784, in Paul F Boller, George Washington & Religion (1963) p. 118, quoted from Ed and Michael Buckner, "Quotations that Support the Separation of State and Church"

We have abundant reason to rejoice that in this Land the light of truth and reason has triumphed over the power of bigotry and superstition ... In this enlightened Age and in this Land of equal liberty it is our boast, that a man's religious tenets will not forfeit the protection of the Laws, nor deprive him of the right of attaining and holding the highest Offices that are known in the United States.

Here are quotes from the bible (look them up yourself):

Quotes from Leviticus:
20:9 For every one that curseth his father or his mother shall be surely put to death: he hath cursed his father or his mother; his blood shall be upon him.

20:10 And the man that committeth adultery with another man's wife, even he that committeth adultery with his neighbour's wife, the adulterer and the adulteress shall surely be put to death.

20:27 A man also or woman that hath a familiar spirit, or that is a wizard, shall surely be put to death: they shall stone them with stones: their blood shall be upon them.

Quotes from Deuteronomy:
18"If any man has a stubborn and rebellious son who will (L)not obey his father or his mother, and when they chastise him, he will not even listen to them,
19then his father and mother shall seize him, and bring him out to the elders of his city at the gateway of his hometown.
20"They shall say to the elders of his city, 'This son of ours is stubborn and rebellious, he will not obey us, he is a glutton and a drunkard.'
21"(M)Then all the men of his city shall stone him to death; so (N)you shall remove the evil from your midst, and (O)all Israel will hear of it and fear.
22"If a man has committed a sin (P)worthy of death and he is put to death, and you hang him on a tree,
23(Q)his corpse shall not hang all night on the tree, but you shall surely bury him on the same day (for (R)he who is hanged is accursed of God), so that you (S)do not defile your land which the LORD your God gives you as an inheritance.
28:28 The LORD shall smite thee with madness, and blindness, and astonishment of heart:
28:29 And thou shalt grope at noonday, as the blind gropeth in darkness, and thou shalt not prosper in thy ways: and thou shalt be only oppressed and spoiled evermore, and no man shall save thee.
28:30 Thou shalt betroth a wife, and another man shall lie with her: thou shalt build an house, and thou shalt not dwell therein: thou shalt plant a vineyard, and shalt not gather the grapes thereof.

28:31 Thine ox shall be slain before thine eyes, and thou shalt not eat thereof: thine ass shall be violently taken away from before thy face, and shall not be restored to thee: thy sheep shall be given unto thine enemies, and thou shalt have none to rescue them.
28:32 Thy sons and thy daughters shall be given unto another people, and thine eyes shall look, and fail with longing for them all the day long; and there shall be no might in thine hand.

2 Kings 9:30-37
30 When Jehu came to Jezreel, Jezebel heard {of it,} and she R216 painted her eyes and adorned her head and looked out the window. 31 As Jehu entered the gate, she said, "Is it well, F122 Zimri, your F123 master's murderer?" 32 Then he lifted up his face to the window and said, "Who is on my side? Who?" And two or three officials looked down at him. 33 He said, "Throw her down." So they threw her down, and some of her blood was sprinkled on the wall and on the horses, and he trampled her under foot. 34 When he came in, he ate and drank; and he said, "See now to this R217 cursed woman and bury her, for she R218 is a king's daughter." 35 They went to bury her, but they found nothing more of her than the skull and the feet and the palms of her hands. 36 Therefore they returned and told him. And he said, "This is the word of the LORD, which He spoke by His servant Elijah the Tishbite, saying, 'In the property F124 of Jezreel the dogs shall eat the flesh of Jezebel; 37 and the R219 corpse of Jezebel will be as dung on the face of the field in the property F125 of Jezreel, so they cannot say, "This is Jezebel.'""

Romans 8:18-31 (New International Version)
Future Glory
18I consider that our present sufferings are not worth comparing with the glory that will be revealed in us. 19The creation waits in eager expectation for the sons of God to be revealed. 20For the creation was subjected to frustration, not by its own choice, but by the will of the one who subjected it, in hope 21that[a] the creation itself will be liberated from its bondage to decay and brought into the glorious freedom of the children of God.
22We know that the whole creation has been groaning as in the pains of childbirth right up to the present time. 23Not only so, but we ourselves, who have the firstfruits of the Spirit, groan inwardly as we wait eagerly for our adoption as sons, the redemption of our bodies. 24For in this hope we were saved. But hope that is seen is no hope at all. Who hopes for what he already has? 25But if we hope for what we do not yet have, we wait for it patiently.
26In the same way, the Spirit helps us in our weakness. We do not know what we ought to pray for, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us with groans that words cannot express. 27And he who searches our hearts knows the mind of the Spirit, because the Spirit intercedes for the saints in accordance with God's will.
More Than Conquerors
28And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him,[b] who[c] have been called according to his purpose. 29For those God foreknew he also predestined to be conformed to the likeness of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brothers. 30And those he predestined, he also called; those he called, he also justified; those he justified, he also glorified.
31What, then, shall we say in response to this? If God is for us, who can be against us?

Matthew 7:14 (King James Version)
14Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.

Luke 13:24 (King James Version)
24Strive to enter in at the strait gate: for many, I say unto you, will seek to enter in, and shall not be able.

Matthew 13:42 (King James Version)
42And shall cast them into a furnace of fire: there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth.

Surely Barack wasn’t right when he said people have not been reading the bible was he?

Im am so ashamed of all the women that would vote for Sarah Palin when she voted against women's rites protecting us from domestic violence. She thinks when we get rapped, we should pay for the rape kit if we want to find the perpatraitor. You say she's just like us...are there no more standards for this country to hold office ? Like education ? This is not the PTA, It's the head of the USA! The un-educated loopy Jessica Simpson impersonation puts us back 40 years that's were we've arrived women ? Reality TV ?
Last time I check a drug addicted son and a pregnant teen used to mean a red flag at home..Not one of GOD !
Oh last note ... she's not a mother her husband whom took a leave of absence is ! So stop calling her a mother she's not around to do that job she's not like us !

Anonymous said...

yes those who "get" Palin are just fools who live with the vale of religion over their eyes. I hate to break it to you god is NOT the be all end all, and it has absolutely no place in government.

all those who agree with her seem to be afflicted by tunnel vision where as those who seem to REALLY get her those who are not in favor of this woman, are the ones who know the truth. I can tell you people are the types who watch shows on the FOX network otherwise I wouldn't expect you to be so ignorant.

If only by a WORK OF GOD that the state of Florida be swallowed into the ocean along with you will this country be saved from another BUSH LIKE REGIME.

All I have to say is if the republican party gets elected this country will go to hell. Doing so will only speed the process of your fate.

O just for the record you cant argue with these women because they are stay at home moms with nothing to do besides watch fox and find new Passions. The women we saw on cnn amounts to nothing more than a HEN HOUSE.

And dont be flattered you may have been able to get me to rant on your site but ii am sure the majority of the Visits here are just not fans. they are op posers like myself.

PLEASE do me and your fellow americans and those who died fighting for the real ideals of this country a favor and get sick on election day
