Fallout

I just heard on FOX news that between 10,000 and 20,000 readers have cancelled subscriptions to Us Weekly after they published Sarah Palin and her family on the front cover of their magazine in a negative light (while the week before they published a glowing report about Obama and his family). This is wonderful news and I hope the numbers continue to grow! In her interview with the editor, Megyn Kelly of FOX News points out that much of what they printed was downright false, and where there was truth, it was partial truth. [You can see the link to this interview at the right of this page] She discredits him brilliantly. Way to go Megyn!

In addition, those of you who are Oprah fans will be interested to hear that she is adamantly against having Gov. Sarah Palin on her show. [see Drudge Report on Oprah at the right of this page] What happened to Oprah wanting to unify the women of this country??!! I encourage you to contact the show and express your opinions. [see link at right of this page] Oprah needs to know that conservative women have a voice too.

It is a sad world we live in when we can no longer trust what we read or hear in the vast majority of media outlets. While they certainly have the right, as Americans, to say or print what they wish, it certainly doesn't mean we have to continue to read this garbage, pay for subscriptions, buy the magazines, or watch channels like MSNBC, NBC, or CNN. Join me in boycotting such magazines, newspapers, and certainly in changing the channel! That is something we CAN do!

WHAT ELSE CAN WE DO? I welcome your comments! We need to make our voices heard!
